PS: I was that Calcutta hotel room earlier this year when I heard Fareed Zakaria (on CNN International) say that a deal had been worked out between the Obama administration and the Egyptian military which was basically a coup to replace Mubarak. Such is what has happened as conveyed by the excellent Russia Today (RT) report linked above. So much for that ‘democratic’ revolution as the Egyptian Army has only gotten even more autocratic by the look of it!
