One Response to “FBI Agent’s 9/11 Motive Testimony: Israel References Omitted from 9/11 Report”

  • V Paulsen says:

Well seeing – in this instance – reading is believing. This piece of California legislation stating that no criticism of Israel and its policies is acceptable is an outrageous violation of the First Amendment of the US Constitution guarnteeing Freedom of Speech. The Founding Fathers & Brothers would be horrified at this legislation. We should be horrified as well.

Once again, I think it necesary to uproot the entire corpus of doctrines and dogmas, myths, non-verifiable history and claims, of both the OT and NT. The OT is hardly the epitome of morality, although it is believed by many to be such. The OT notions and views of the character of the Creator(s) of the universe are questionable – and should be questioned and challenged by one and all.

But the view that Israel cannot be criticized or challenged is unique and yet another instance of the claims of exceptionalism embedded in the OT.

No other nation is allowed such an exemption from commentary and criticism. Anyone can – and folks of many persuasions do – criticize Muslim nations, criticize European and Asian nations, criticize So and Central American nations on many many issues – political, economic, environmental, military, social.

This recent California legislation, a state once known for its liberal politics and the intellectual superiority of its university system undermines the very notion of democracy and should be challenged.
