A diverse panel of experts examined the relationship between the U.S. and Israel, and the impact of lobbying groups on U.S. policy in the Middle East.
The “National Summit to Reassess the U.S.-Israel ‘Special Relationship’” was held at the National Press Club by the Institute for Research: Middle Eastern Policy along with the Council for the National Interest, If Americans Knew, and the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs.
Dr. Stephen Sniegoski sent out the following to his email list this morning:

Yesterday, March 7, the “National Summit to Reassess the U.S.-Israel ‘Special Relationship,’” at which I spoke, was held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. The presentations lasted from 9:00 to 5:00 and were very informative.
A video of the Summit presentations can be found at :

The above web page provides the order and general times of the speakers.
(Michael Scheuer and Cynthia McKinney did not show up—though Ms.McKinney sent a video.)
I spoke on the “Neoconservatives and the Iraq War.”
I began to speak at about 1:08:20. I looked at my paper too much, but I needed to get done quickly–couldn’t afford hesitations. Speakers were only allotted a maximum of 13 minutes, though some took more.
At about 3:25:36, I try to deal with a question on the very taboo topic of possible Israeli involvement in 9/11—which included the “dancing Israelis” viewing the falling buildings from across the Hudson River in New Jersey. I sort of hemmed and hawed on this one. A fellow from the audience later handed me a CD on the FBI investigation of the matter, which is called the “High Fivers.” I was told it provides some apparent evidence that the Israeli “movers” were positioned to photograph the buildings before the first plane hit. ( I haven’t looked at it yet, but I see there is information on the “High Fivers” investigation on the Interment that does provide such evidence.) Significant parts of the investigation are still classified and blacked out, which would seem odd for something that was considered perfectly innocuous.
